Hey Granddaddy! Happy Birthday! I hope its amazing. I hope i could be there to celebrate it with you and eat some of your cake. I’ve been reading through all of these messages and laughing at all the memories that all these people have with you. You are certainly loved and cherished by many many people including myself. I think one of the best memories for me is you taking me out every other week to a movie, or to play putt putt golf, or to dinner. We spent alot of quality time on those nights and i didnt realize it then but they helped me out alot through the years. Your guidance, knowledge, love, and kind words were an amazing blessing. I wish we could still do that. You were such a good father to my momma, especially after the divorce and moving back to Georgia. Times were certainly tough but just being at your house with you and grandmama seemed to make her so happy. I can only hope and wish that some of that rubbed off on me when I’m a father.
Your kindness, love, passion, sense humor and general love of life truely do make a role model and an amazing human being. If I become even half the man you are i will fell blessed. I love you and miss you very much Granddaddy. I hope this day is one you will never forget.love,
